Google Chromecast 2 and Chromecast Audio launched in India for Rs. 3399

Google unveiled its second generation Chromecast as well as the Chromecast Audio back in September last year. And now, Google has launched them in India. The Chromecast 2 as well as the Chromecast Audio have been listed on Google India’s website with a price tag of Rs. 3399.

Google’s Chromecast is a wireless media streaming device which lets you cast your favorite TV shows, films, music, sports, games, etc by plugging it into the HDMI port on your TV.

Talking about the Chromecast Audio, it’s a small device which plugs into your speaker to stream music over Wi-Fi. Supported speaker inputs are RCA, 3.5 mm and Optical. You can cast audio from your devices to the speaker by using the Chromecast Audio. Just plug it in using the AUX cable. The Chromecast 2 as well as the Chromecast Audio can now connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks as well.

The Chromecast 2 and Chromecast Audio is priced at Rs. 3399 and can be bought from online sellers like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Paytm. It’s also available with offline sellers like Reliance Digital and Croma. You also get free Saavn Pro and Hooq subscription for 6 months upon purchase of either of these dongles.
