Google Fitbit has introduced the new Fitbit Air, a lightweight screenless wearable designed for users looking for a minimal and less distracting alternative to traditional smartwatches and fitness trackers. The Fitbit Air integrates directly with the Google Health ecosystem while focusing on continuous health tracking, long battery life, and all-day comfort.
The Fitbit Air features a compact “pebble” design without a built-in display, making it the smallest tracker in Fitbit’s current lineup. Instead of showing data on-device, the tracker relies entirely on the paired smartphone and Google Health app for metrics, notifications, and activity tracking. The tracker weighs 5.2 grams and 12 grams with the band attached. The device measures 34.9mm in length, 17mm in width, and 8.3mm in thickness.

Despite its compact form factor, Fitbit Air includes multiple health and wellness sensors. Supported tracking features include:

Google says a 5-minute charge can provide up to one full day of usage.
Google Health Ecosystem Integration
The device is fully managed through the Google Health app and integrates with Google Health Coach for personalized fitness and wellness guidance.

- Continuous data syncing
- Cross-device tracking with Pixel Watch support
- Automatic transition between daytime and nighttime wearables
Google says users can wear a Pixel Watch during the day and switch to Fitbit Air at night without interrupting health tracking continuity.
