HTC Desire 826 with octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor announced

While we have seen a host of new smartphones, HTC has now launched the HTC Desire 826 at CES 2015.

HTC has announced the launch of the HTC Desire 826, which is the company’s latest smartphone in the Desire range. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The handset supports 4G LTE (Cat 4).

The HTC Desire 826 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor, 28mm lens and LED flash. There is also a front facing UltraPixel camera with wide-angle lens. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a layer of the HTC Sense UI. The handset is available in four colour options.
