While Samsung has already released the Android Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5, now HTC has now released the update for their flagship handsets.
HTC has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the HTC One M8 and the HTC One M7 Google Play Edition. Interestingly, the company has skipped the 5.0 version and directly jumped to the 5.0.1 version. The update has build number LRX22C and weighs around 500 MB.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the HTC One M8 and the HTC One M7 Google Play Edition is being pushed out in phases and is expected to reach all users by the end of this month. It’s still surprising that the Google Play Edition hasn’t still received the update.
