While the HTC M9 is all over the market, HTC has now launched an affordable variant of the HTC M8 – the HTC One M8s.
HTC has announced the launch of the HTC One M8s, which is the cheaper variant of the HTC One M8, with the exact same design. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 615 processor with 4G support, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The HTC One M8s has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with f/2.8 aperture. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version. The handset is priced at $564 and is available in silver, gold and gunmetal grey colour options.
