Last week, we told you that HTC U11 is going to be launched soon in India. At that time, we didn’t have any specific date for the India launch, however, we now have confirmation that the U11 will be launched in India this week on June 16.
HTC India has started sending out press invites to the Indian media for the launch of U11 in the country on June 16. The U11 was unveiled last month, and, HTC bringing it in India in a month is quite impressive. The U11 is HTC’s flagship for this year which is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device comes in two memory configurations – 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage – however, it seems that India will be getting the 6 GB RAM variant.
Other specs include, a 5.5-inch Quad-HD Super LCD 5 display, a 12 MP UltraPixel 3 camera at the back, a 16 MP camera on the front, Android 7.1.1 Nougat and 3000 mAh battery. However, the biggest highlight of the HTC U11 is its Edge Sense technology. Thanks to this technology, users can perform different actions by just squeezing the handset. They can launch their favorite app or quickly dial a number of their friend.
For now, there’s no information regarding the price and availability of the HTC U11, however, we expect it to be priced somewhere between ₹50,000 to ₹55,000. Having said that, we will get these details once the U11 is launched in India on June 16.
