With an increasing demand for 3G dongles, Idea has launched another version of the 3G dongle in its major 3G markets in India.
Idea Cellular, one of the leading mobile operator in India, has launched the new version of the Idea NetSetter 3G dongle. The 3G NetSetter is capable of speeds up to 21.6 Mbps and can be used to transfer data, stream media, and send SMS messages seamlessly while on the move. The built-in SMS Manager allows users to read, write, reply, forward, and delete text messages, and users can also create and Edit their contacts which can be stored on SIM card or on laptop.
The Idea NetSetter is certified for Microsoft Windows 8 / 8.1 and Windows RT making it the first dongle to get this certification. It is also compatible with Windows, Linux and MAC Operating Systems with backward compatible on EDGE and GPRS. The dongle supports HSPA plus network enabling download of up to 21.6 Mbps and uploading of 5.76 Mbps.
The Idea NetSetter would be available in the major Idea 3G markets which include Maharashtra & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, and Kerala. The dongle is priced at Rs. 2160. The customers can from a range of 3G data packs starting from Rs. 250 for 1 GB to Rs. 1250 for 10 GB data.
