Instagram once again copies Snapchat; Introduces Face Filters

In a blatant move, Instagram has once again ripped off a feature from Snapchat, this time it is face filters.

Instagram, the Facebook owned photo and video sharing site, has introduced the face filters feature which would allow users to add different filters on their face. The company has presented eight augmented reality face filters including koala ears, nerd glasses and butterfly crown. The face filters would work with both the photo, video and Boomerang in real-time.

Additionally, Instagram has added a few more features including a rewind option for videos that lets you play them in reverse. The new hashtag sticker that you can use on images similar to mentions. People watching your story will be able to tap the hashtag sticker or text to visit the hashtag page and explore related posts.
