Add MobiGyaan as a preferred source on Google
Instagram has announced the global rollout of a new feature that allows users to display posts they are tagged in directly on their primary profile grid.
Previously, photos and videos shared by other users where someone was tagged were kept in a separate Tagged tab on their profile. With the new feature, users can bring creator collaborations, group photos, and other shared content into their main Instagram profile grid, giving them more control over how their profiles are presented.

How To Add Tagged Posts To Main Grid On Instagram
Users can add an eligible tagged post to their main profile grid in three ways:
- Direct Message Notifications: Select the option directly from the tag notification received through direct messages.
- Post Options Menu: Tap the three-dot overflow menu (
...) on an eligible post where the user is tagged. - Tagged Tab: Press and hold the desired post within the existing Tagged tab on the profile.
Tagged Posts & Grid Management
Once added, the tagged post appears on the user’s main grid in reverse-chronological order, based on the date the original post was published, unless the user has manually customized their grid arrangement.
The feature also provides flexibility to remove tagged content from the main grid later. Removing a tagged post from the primary grid does not delete the original post or remove the content from the user’s secondary Tagged tab.
