With the increasing demand for ultra-affordable smartphones in India, Karbonn has now launched the Karbonn K9 Smart in the country.
Karbonn has announced the launch of the Karbonn K9 Smart, which is the company’s latest entry-level smartphone with support for 12 Indian languages at the system level and typing support in 21 languages. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with a mere 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Karbonn K9 Smart has a 3.2 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 1.3 MP camera. The device runs on the Android KitKat version with a 2300 mAh battery. The handset is priced at just Rs. 3990 and is available in Black colour.
Speaking about the Karbonn K9 Smart, Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles, said, “With the launch of the K9 Smart, the company aims to dissolve language barriers, which are a major impediment inhibiting smartphone adoption among the non-English speaking population.
