With the increasing demand for budget Android smartphones, Lava is now getting ready with the Lava Iris X8.
The Lava Iris X8, which is apparently the company’s upcoming smartphone in the Iris range, is now listed online on Flipkart. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Lava Iris X8 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with a BSI sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing 3 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 2500 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 8999 and is expected to be announced early next week.
