Lenovo releases Android Marshmallow update for Lenovo Vibe P1

While most of the handset makers are still working on the Android Marshmallow update for their mid-range offerings, Lenovo has released the update for the Lenovo Vibe P1.

Lenovo has announced the release of the Android v6.0 Marshmallow update for the Lenovo Vibe P1 globally. Users in India have also reported to have already received the update. The update, measuring over a whopping 1.6 GB in size, is being pushed out Over-the-Air (OTA) and is expected to reach all users in the next few days. Given the size of the update, it is highly recommended to download it on a high-speed Wi-Fi connection to avoid data charges.

The Android v6.0 Marshmallow update for the Lenovo Vibe P1 brings in quite a lot of UI changes and additions. Moreover, the latest security patches from Lenovo and Google are included in the update.
