After several leaks and teasers, Meizu has now officially announced the latest ultra-affordable Meizu M5 smartphone in China.
Meizu has announced the launch of the Meizu M5, which is the company’s latest ultra-affordable 4G smartphone offering with a fingerprint scanner. The device has a 5.2 inch 2.5D curved glass display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Meizu M5 has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 3070 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The handset is priced starting at 699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 6900) and is available in Mint Green, Glacier White, Champagne Gold, Sapphire Blue and Matte Black colour options.
