While YU just launched the Yuphoria smartphone, which is said to be designed based on the suggestions of its fans, the company has also reiterated its commitment to connected device ecosystem.
YU has announced the launch of the YUFit fitness band and the HealthYU cassette. The YuFit band features a small OLED display that displays the time, number of steps, distance walked, number of calories burnt etc. The band also offers notification for incoming calls and messages. Interestingly, the supporting app can be used to calculate number of calories consumed based on the food consumed.
The HealthYU cassette is basically a gadget that measures and monitors your health stats in real time. It can be used to monitor blood pressure, body temperature, oxygen level, heart rate, respiration rate and even ECG. The YUFit fitness band is priced at just Rs. 999 whereas the HealthYU cassette is priced at Rs. 4999. Both the devices would be available starting from next month.
