With the Android One project working successfully in India, Micromax has now launched the affordable Micromax Canvas Xpress.
Micromax has announced the launch of the Micromax Canvas Xpress. The device has a 4.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Micromax Canvas Xpress has a 5 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 1950 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 6999 and is available exclusively on Flipkart. It would also come bundled with free Flipkart eBooks worth Rs. 1000 and 500 MB of free data per month for the first 6 months for Aircel users.
