Namotel Acche Din smartphone launched in India for just Rs. 99

With the ‘cheapest Android phone’ gimmick turning quite a few heads (mostly for the wrong reasons), Namotel has now launched the Namotel Acche Din smartphone at an unbelievable price point.

Namotel, a Bengaluru based company, has announced the launch of the Namotel Acche Din, which is touted to be India’s most affordable smartphone priced at just Rs. 99. While the Namotel company website didn’t open up for us, there is apparently a small line of hidden text with regards to the pricing. While the Namotel Acche Din may be priced at Rs. 99, prospective customers are required to register on for which they need to pay a one-time membership fee of Rs. 199. Sadly, the latter website also threw an error for us.
