The Nokia notification beta trial concludes and the notification team have considered some of the ideas given by the users like having a widget also in the privacy page. Some of the suggestions could not be implemented as it would require change in the platform applications, which is rarely done to in-market devices. There were also comments on the calendar reminders which only will be working from certain software release onwards.
The new version of this application is available at the Ovi store for the following devices:
- Nokia N97
- Nokia N97 mini
- Nokia C6
You will have to remove the beta application first before installing the new Nokia Notifications.
This widget support is a good feature and the Nokia users who wont be getting the symbian^3 upgrade will welcome this application . It can be downloaded from here.
