OnePlus X starts receiving OxygenOS 2.2.0 update

The OnePlus X has started receiving OxygenOS 2.2.0 update over-the-air (OTA). This update comes soon after the OxygenOS 2.1.4 was availed for the OnePlus One.

OnePlus made the announcement about the roll-out through its official twitter handle. The tweet read, “#OxygenOS 2.2.0 is headed for your #OnePlusX.” This new update will include Manual mode for Camera app, Save to SD card option in Camera App, USSD bug fix for India, Dual SIM preferences in system settings, OTA app upgrade, and, security patches along with some general bug fixes and optimizations.

  • GPU: Adreno 330
  • Operating System: OxygenOS 2.1.3 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (OxygenOS 2.2.0 has started rolling-out)
  • Display: 5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display having pixel density of 441ppi with the protection of Gorilla Glass 3
  • Rear Camera: 13MP with Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF) and LED flash
