Most companies have already updated their devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop barring a few and one of the defaulters in this department is Oppo. Most if not all Oppo devices are still running on Android 4.4 KitKat, be it their mid-ranger or flagship. Well, that should change soon, as new reports suggest Oppo is working to bring the Lollipop update to its devices soon.
Reportedly, Oppo will bring the Android 5.0 Lollipop update under its Color OS 2.1 update, which is said to be bringing a visual overhaul. So, along with the Android 5.0 goodies, there should be some new features with Oppo’s Color OS 2.1.
The report does not reveal an exact frame on the update and says it’s coming “soon”, which could mean days, weeks or even months. Either ways, we are glad that the update is atleast coming.
