Purported Samsung Galaxy S6 gets benchmarked through Antutu; details inside

Purported Samsung Galaxy S6 has received its Antutu Benchmark scores. Along with the unveiling of the scores, certain specifications of the model have also got confirmed.

First and foremost the model ID mentioned in the benchmark is SM-G925W8. We have strong reason to believe that this model is the Samsung Galaxy S6 as its predecessor’s model ID falls in the same series.

The specifications listed from the benchmarks claim that this model packs in a 5.1 inch display with a resolution of 2560x1440p. It performs on an octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset (four Cortex-A57 + four Cortex-A53) and an ARM Mali T760 GPU. The device has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It has a 20 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The Antutu benchmark also reveals that the device is running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

The Antutu score of the device is a whopping 60,978 and till date there is no other device that has achieved a score this high. Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy Edge are to be revealed on March 1, 2015 and this is certainly a sneak peak of what Samsung has in store for its fans.
