The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its massive 8,000 mAh Titan Battery, which is the largest battery ever featured in a numbered realme smartphone. realme claims up to three days of battery life under typical usage scenarios. The battery supports 45W fast charging, All-Scenario Bypass Charging for reduced heat during gaming, 7-Year Battery Health protection, and wired reverse charging functionality. Despite the large battery, the smartphone measures just 8.88 mm thick and weighs approximately 224 grams, making it relatively slim for its battery capacity.
The realme 16T 5G features the company’s new Gleaming Wings Design, which incorporates shimmering multi-colored particles that create dynamic gradient effects as light reflects across the rear panel. The smartphone is available in Aurora Green, Starlight Black, and Starlight Red, with the latter being exclusive to the Indian market.
The smartphone carries IP68 and IP69 Pro dust and water resistance ratings, offering protection against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets. realme has also equipped the device with its ArmorShell 4-Layer Drop Protection Structure, featuring reinforced corners, internal cushioning, a metallic mid-frame, and a strengthened structural frame. The smartphone runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, introducing the new Flux Engine animation framework, AI Boost 3.0 optimizations, Extended Use Care 2.0, and realme’s 6-Year Fluency Protection, which aims to maintain long-term system smoothness and responsiveness.
For photography, the realme 16T 5G features a 50 MP Sony IMX852 primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2 MP monochrome sensor. The front houses a 16 MP Sony IMX480 selfie camera.
