A new program has been launched by Reliance Communication called ‘Reliance First’ for their users in Karnataka. It is basically a customer engagement program which will aim at interacting with customers, customers can also use this opportunity to pay their bills, recharge their account, submit their customer application form and in addition, get their CDMA handsets upgraded, serviced etc and discuss any other customer service issues.
The launch saw Mr. Swaminathan, Hub Head Karnataka, Reliance Communications commenting, “When we conducted the Reliance First meet last year, it was a great success in Bangalore. We could connect with a large number of customers. This time, we are taking it to the next level & providing the same platform across Karnataka. This initiative is yet another step towards Reliance Communications’ commitment to provide the best-in-class mobile services to its customers.”

Customer services for the telecom department have been very sluggish in India and hopefully this endeavour by Reliance will improve the status of customer services in India.
