Keeping with the ambitions of expanding its services to reach a wider audience, Reliance Jio has now apparently started home delivery of Jio SIM cards.
According to PhoneRadar, Reliance JIo has started doorstep delivery of Jio 4G SIM cards in Mumbai. The company is using the eKYC service to offer the SIM card at the customers’ location without requiring documentation. The company also plans on rolling out the service in Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Pune, and Ahmedabad soon.
To avail the Reliance Jio SIM card delivered at the doorstep, customers need to visit the Jio official website and fill in all personal details including Aadhaar card number. A Jio representative would then visit the mentioned address to complete the eKYC procedure. On completion, the SIM card would be activated within 15 minutes.
