The tariff for existing cellular calling is nowhere near 19 paise per minute and one has to spend money on VAS (Value Added Services). Bhavin Turakhia, Founder and CEO at Ringo, stated:

"Our vision has been to make calling across the globe simple, seamless and low-cost for the masses. Our local calling service is not only the cheapest in India right now, but it is also free of typical telecom-related hassles such as STD charges and differential pricing. In a country where 3G penetration is not fairly high throughout, we also have a strong edge over Internet telephony apps, as Ringo calls do not use data, and are comparable in price."

Ringo comes with easy-to-read itemized bills that carry credits making it convenient for their users to check the Ringo transactions. The user can also earn free credits by downloading and trying out various apps from the Offers section.

Moreover, there is a promotional offer going on for the new users. The users who register for the first time get 50 Minutes of talk time for free on their phone. The user who needs more talk time can refer the app to their friends.

The best part is that Ringo won’t be using your data packs or your balance to call the Local/STD for its cheapest calling service. Unlike other VOIP calling services, it uses your cellular networks rather than your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection to make calls. Hence, you’ll get better calling experience without any call drops.

Apart from the national calling, the rates for international calls are comparatively cheaper. In case, the user is making calls to the US, then it will cost just 87 paise per minute which is very cheap comparing with the popular telecom service providers that charge for international calling.
