Samsung India has launched the Samsung Galaxy F70 5G, expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup in India with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, a 50 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 SoC and supports 25W wired fast charging. The Galaxy F70 5G also features a slim 7.5 mm design and comes in Lilac Bliss and Bliss Black color options. It runs One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 and includes Samsung’s software and security features.
The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G is the toned-down variant of the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G launched in August. Samsung says the F70 5G has the segment’s best camera, segment’s brightest sAMOLED display, segment’s toughest display, and is the segment’s slimmest phone. The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G measures 7.5 mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams. It features a vertical rear camera arrangement and is available in Lilac Bliss and Bliss Black colors.
The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone also carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy F70 5G features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. Graphics are handled by the ARM Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. The device is available in 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 2 TB using a microSD card, with the phone featuring a hybrid dual-SIM slot. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy F70 5G runs One UI 7.0 based on Android 15. Samsung has confirmed support for four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security patches. The software features include Samsung Knox security, Samsung Wallet, Circle to Search with Google, Quick Share, and Voice Focus.
