Way back in September 2016, South Korean tech giant Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone in India with a price tag of ₹18,790. Well now, the company has quietly made the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 official in the country.
Samsung hasn’t launched the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 in India yet though, however, it has already been listed on Samsung India’s official website along with its images, specifications and price. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is powered by Exynos 7 series octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.6 GHz and is paired with 3 GB RAM.
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 runs Android Nougat out of the box which is a big letdown. That said, for photography, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 comes with a 13 MP camera both on the front and back.
The rear camera also comes with features like Live Stickers, Live Filters, Instant Share and Instant Editing. Moreover, the smartphone also comes with Samsung Pay Mini which is actually a stripped down version of Samsung Pay that’s widely seen on Samsung’s upper mid-range and flagship smartphones.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 also comes with a feature called Samsung Mall that lets users take pictures of a product and search it online across different websites for shopping.
Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has 32 GB of internal storage, and, it packs a 3300 mAh battery under the hood that draws power from a micro USB port.
