The Gingerbread update for the Samsung Galaxy S is officially available through the Samsung Kies PC software. It was confirmed that the update will be here by April and it seems to be on time for the Europeans. The update has been spotted in some European countries and claims to make the smart phone run faster and the user data and the apps are still in place after the update. It will be available in all countries soon so keep a lookout.
