Now that the flagship Galaxy S5 launch is wrapped up, based on the tradition, we are expecting a series of variants of the flagship. The first and most important one being the Mini version of the popular handset.
According to sources, detailed specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini have been revealed. The Mini version is expected to feature a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone would be powered by the quad core Snapdragon 400 processor which is commonly seen in mid-range smartphones. Further the handset comes with just 1.5 GB of RAM which is suspiciously less.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini would feature a decent 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There would also be a front facing 2 MP camera. While, like the flagship, this device would also run on the latest KitKat version, the fancy fingerprint scanner and the heart rate monitor may not be seen on the e Mini version.
