Samsung is known to be working on the successors to the devices in the Galaxy A series. However, the company also seems to be working on a high-end variant as well.

Samsung Galaxy On5 - Hands On (3)

According to sources, Samsung is reportedly working on a new smartphone with a massive display and high-end specs. The device bearing model number SM-A9100 is said to be the enhanced version of the Galaxy A9 and could be released as the Galaxy A9 Pro. However, there are not many details about the handset available at the moment.

Speculations based on the previous handset suggest that the Galaxy A9 Pro would sport at least a 6 inch display but hopefully with super high Quad HD resolution. Also expected is a high-end processor with maybe 4 GB of RAM. The phone is expected to ship with the latest Android v6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. We should be hearing more details soon.
