Sharp had ditched the 5.5-inch and 10.8-inch tablets and said that they will be launching 7-inch tablet.
Well we have some info about the device and we can confirm that the tablet will support and get an update for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon after it has been launched.
The 7-inch Galapagos tablet will boast a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 1GBof RAM and 8GB storage, Android Honeycomb,a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The tablet will also support WiMAX technology which offers speeds of up to 40Mpbs and is a big hit in Japan.
Sharp’s Media Tablet is said to launch on the 9th of December, price is still unknown, but we’ll keep an eye out for it.
