Sony Xperia E4 goes official with a 5-inch display, Quad-core processor and DUAL SIM

The Sony Xperia E4 was leaked earlier in the day and the company has revealed the device officially. The Xperia E4 will come in a single SIM version along with a dual SIM version, the Xperia E4 Dual.

The Xperia E4 is an entry level Android smartphone, as its specifications suggest. The device comes with a 5-inch qHD (960x540p) display and it’s powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU and coupled with 1 GB RAM.

The budget smartphone comes with 8 GB internal storage and microSD expansion. On the camera front, the Xperia E4 comes with a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. Android 4.4.4 KitKat will run on the show and Sony hasn’t revealed if the device will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The device will come with a 2300 mAh battery with Sony’s STAMINA mode.

The connectivity options are well covered with Dual SIM support (Xperia E4 Dual) and 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The Xperia E4 and E4 Dual will hit the market in mid-February and Sony is yet to reveal the price. We’ll keep you posted as they do.
