Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition gets a big price cut

The Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition was launched at the end of last year and after four months, the price of the device has received a big drop. The phablet was priced at $649 at launch and today, it has received a big cut of $200, bringing the price down to $449.

When we reviewed the Xperia Z Ultra last year, we quite liked it but for its sheer size and average camera. The internals with Snapdragon 800 is still quite great and if you want a Google Play Edition device then the Z Ultra Google Play Edition might be a good bet at $449.
