While there already have been rumours about the Sony Xperia Z1S, the first images of the device have been leaked helping us correlate the device with the flagship Xperia Z1.
The leaked images of the alleged Sony Xperia Z1S, which is touted to be the mini version of the Xperia Z1 but with the near same hardware, presents the same design cut as seen with the Xperia Z1 along with the sleek water and dust resistant body. The device only has a smaller 4.3 inch display with reduced resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, which still has a 340 ppi pixel density.
The Sony Xperia Z1S is powered by the same 2.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, just like the Xperia Z1. The device also has the same 20.7 MP rear facing G lens camera with a larger than usual 1/2.3 inch camera sensor. The battery of the smartphone is expected to be a smaller 2300 mAh one.
