Tata Teleservices Limited has added 2.32 million new subscribers (wireless and wireline) in the month of July 2010 to cross the 75-million-subscribers’ milestone in just over five-and-a-half years since the launch of its mobile telephony services in early 2005. The company closed the month of July with a total of 76,058,908 subscribers (wireless and wireline), as on 31 July 2010. The company has shown a subscriber growth rate of more than 100 per cent in the last 12 months—from 38 million subscribers in July 2009.Commenting on the landmark achievement, Mr. Anil Sardana, Managing Director of Tata Teleservices Limited, said: “We thank and appreciate every subscriber’s faith in us as a transparent, caring and efficient telecom services company.
