uninor-logoUninor has introduced eco-friendly retail signboards using Tyvek Green Signages across its retail outlets in the country. Uninor has extended what it started in Mumbai by using this environmental friendly medium, making it one of the first city to adopt such technique.

Traditionally, Arlon Grey Media 13onz is used for traditional retail branding and shop visibility. However to move away from this traditional platform to HDPE product, Uninor has introduced Tyvek Green Signages that will ensure that it  spends lesser energy and resources in creating new signages. The Tyvek product is durable, light weight, waterproof, tear and puncture resistant in addition to being non toxic and 100% recyclable – making it extremely eco-friendly. The signages are printed using special UV inks instead of the regular solvent inks; the UV barriers present in the ink make this a resilient and long lasting branding option.

According to Mr. Upanga Dutta – Business Head, Mumbai Circle – Uninor,  “We are glad to be the first company in India to pilot innovation of HDPE Tyvek Green Signage’s across Mumbai. Being a responsible corporate, we were quite keen to explore an eco-friendly platform while driving visibility across retail outlets. This product we found is 100% recyclable and non toxic, making it the perfect combination of resilience, cost efficiency and most of all eco-friendliness.”

Since its launch in June 1st, 2010, Uninor has worked towards doing things differently than the rest. The company’s commitment to innovation has seen it launching path breaking product propositions like Dynamic Pricing. The pilot project using Tyvek Green Signages is yet another example of Uninor’s endeavor to ensure a healthy and safe environment is maintained in the markets it operates in.
