The Uttarayan festival is just around the corner and Vodafone plans on getting involved in the festivities with a cool new contest for its Gujarat customers. Vodafone is offering free internet to its customers in Gujarat everyday starting from January 10-15.

Vodafone Uttarayan contest

Vodafone customers in Gujarat have to click a selfie with their special kite and post the selfie on their Facebook wall with the hashtag #VodafoneUttarayan. The selfie with the most likes will be the winner of the contest.

Vodafone will select 10 winners everyday and the winner will get free 8 GB mobile internet with 28 days validity worth Rs. 1,250. The contest is open to Vodafone prepaid and postpaid customers in Gujarat.

Jayesh Gadia, Business Head of Vodafone Gujarat extended his greetings on Uttarayan and said, “The festival of Uttarayan is an integral part of Gujarat’s rich cultural heritage and as state’s no. 1 telecom service provider, Vodafone is taking the lead to delight our customers and make them feel special on this occasion. Kite flying and Uttarayan are synonymous with each other. I take pleasure in inviting all Vodafone customers in Gujarat to enliven these celebrations by participating in the #VodafoneUttarayan initiative and win free mobile internet to enjoy seamless mobile internet experience on Gujarat’s largest 3G network.  Come, enjoy Uttarayan with Vodafone”.
