Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch outside China this month. The company announced it in a post on X on 2 November, saying the series is “going global this November”. Xiaomi gave no launch date, list of markets or prices.
The post narrows the window Xiaomi gave in September, when it said the series would go global “this year”. It also changes course for the Pro models: Xiaomi did not take the Xiaomi 17 Pro outside China, and this time the Pro and Pro Max are both confirmed for international markets.

Xiaomi 18 Pro India launch: where it stands
India is not named in the 2 November post, but the India launch of the Xiaomi 18 Pro was confirmed earlier. Xiaomi India posted a “coming soon” teaser on 24 September, a day after the China launch. Gautam Batra, associate director of product marketing at Xiaomi India, confirmed the launch at India Mobile Congress 2026, the telecom and technology trade event in New Delhi, on 9 October. Xiaomi has not announced an India date or price. It has also not confirmed the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max for India, because the teaser named only the 18 Pro. An earlier tip pointed to December for India, which Xiaomi has not confirmed.

Battery: what a European retailer listing shows
The 7,000mAh battery and 100W wired charging above are the China specifications. An Italian retailer listing spotted on 27 October shows the European Xiaomi 18 Pro at 6,000mAh with 90W wired charging, and the 18 Pro Max at 7,050mAh against 8,500mAh in China. The same figures had appeared in a leak on 25 September. The listing is not from Xiaomi, and Xiaomi has not said which battery India will get. Xiaomi has cut battery capacity on international versions before: the Xiaomi 17 has a 7,000mAh battery in China and 6,330mAh in its global version.
A busy month for flagships
The Xiaomi 18 Pro is one of the first phones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, alongside the Motorola Signature 27 and the iQOO 16. The vivo X500 series is also reportedly coming to India in November, and OPPO’s Find X10 launched in India on 22 October at ₹1,39,999.
