While we just heard of Xiaomi’s plans to release its first smartwatch later this year, the company has just taken the wraps off the Mitu Watch.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Mitu Watch a.k.a. Mi Bunny, which is the company’s first watch dedicated to kids. The watch helps parents to keep track of their kids’ whereabouts. The watch features FDA approved silicone straps and sports an LED dot-matrix display. It also comes with built-in GPS support and a dedicated SOS button.
The Mitu Watch comes with a support app for parents using which parents to set up a secure zone, and if the kid were to venture out of it, the smartwatch will send across a notification. The watch also allows the parents to add up to 12 contacts who will all be informed if the kid is in an emergency.
