With the handsets makers focusing on after sales services, Xiaomi has now launched the Mi Protect insurance service plans for their handsets in India.
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Mi Protect insurance service plans for the Xiaomi handsets in India. The plans cover the handsets from accidental and liquid damage and even offer free home pickup and drop from the service centre. Interestingly, the company is offering a free second servicing within 1 year from activation.
The Mi Protect insurance service plans are priced at Rs. 275 for Redmi 2 and Redmi 2 Prime and Rs. 499 for Mi 4i, Mi 4 and the Mi Pad. The service plans can be bought with all the Mi devices available on the company’s official portal. The plans would offer cashless repairs at authorized service centers.
