Xiaomi Mi 4c with hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and USB Type-C port announced

After several leaks and rumours, Xiaomi has now officially launched the Xiaomi Mi 4c in China.


Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 4c, which is the company’s latest smartphone in the Mi 4 series with the latest reversible USB Type-C port. The device has a 5 inch IPS fully laminated display from Sharp with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor and is available in two variants – one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage and the other with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Mi 4c has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, 5P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with 85 degree wide-angle lens. The device runs on the latest MiUI 7 version with a massive 3080 mAh battery. The handset is priced at $204 and is available in white, blue, yellow and pink colours options with matte finish.
