Xiaomi India has launched the Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, adding a compact magnetic charging accessory to its power bank portfolio. Priced at ₹5,599, the power bank features a 5,000 mAh battery, up to 15W magnetic wireless charging, and up to 22.5W wired charging in a 6 mm ultra-thin design. The power bank measures just 6 mm in thickness and weighs 98 grams, with Xiaomi positioning it as one of the thinnest magnetic wireless power banks in its class. The power bank is launched alongside the Xiaomi Power Bank 20000mAh 165W and Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10,000mAh 45W.
The Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 features a card-like design measuring 98.5 mm x 71.5 mm x 6 mm. It uses an aluminium alloy shell with a fibreglass surface and rounded contours designed for a comfortable one-handed magnetic grip. It is available in Radiant Orange, Glacier Silver, and Graphite Black color options.
The power bank uses a 5,000 mAh high-energy-density silicon-carbon battery with 16% silicon content, paired with a 4,369 mm² graphite sheet. Xiaomi says this combination allows it to maintain a slim form factor while providing high energy density.

15W Wireless | 22.5W Wired Charging
The power bank supports up to 15W magnetic wireless charging, allowing compatible devices to be charged by simply snapping them onto the magnetic surface.
For wired charging, its USB Type-C port supports up to 22.5W output. The power bank also supports simultaneous charging of two devices. In this mode, the USB-C output can deliver up to 7.5W, while wireless charging provides up to 5W. Xiaomi says users need to press the power button once to activate two-device simultaneous charging.
The company also claims that using the power bank with the Xiaomi 17 can extend music playback time from 15.39 hours to approximately 24.47 hours under its internal testing conditions.
Safety Features | Temperature Management
The Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 includes 10 layers of safety protection. These include electrostatic protection, input and output overvoltage protection, over-temperature protection, output overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, short-circuit protection, over-discharge protection, overcharge protection, and foreign object detection.
It also features dual-NTC temperature control and cold-touch temperature regulation to help manage temperatures during charging and discharging.
