Yesterday, press renders of Nokia 1 and Nokia 7+ leaked online which gave us our clearest look yet at both the smartphones. The Nokia 1 is an entry-level smartphone that will be powered by Android Go, whereas, the Nokia 7+ is said to be a mid-range smartphone that will run non-Go version of Android. Both these smartphones are expected to be unveiled later this month at MWC, and, just ahead of the expected launch, a live image of the Nokia 7+ has surfaced online.

The live image of the Nokia 7+ (pictured above) shows off the design of the smartphone that’s exactly the same that we saw from the render (pictured below) that leaked yesterday. The phone has a bezel-less design and has a screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. While the size of the screen is currently unknown, we expect it to measure 6-inch diagonally.

The live image of the Nokia 7+ also shows the phone to be running stock Android. Moreover, it looks like the phone will be launching soon in India as the lock screen has “Namaste” displayed at the top-left corner along with “Raj Sharma” written below the time and date. Well, the former is an Indian way of saying ‘Hello’, and, the latter is an Indian name.

It’s possible that HMD Global is currently testing the Nokia 7+ in India, especially with different carrier bands, before launching it in the country. Chances are that the company will unveil it later this month at MWC and then launch it in India soon.

With that being said, the leaked render from yesterday also reveal that the phone will be a part of Android One program. While there’s no word from HMD regarding the Nokia 7+, past listing on a benchmarking site reveals Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4 GB RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo under the hood.

Moreover, the render also reveals a dual camera setup with Zeiss optics at the back positioned in vertical orientation. We are still more than a week away from HMD’s MWC event, hence, expect to hear more about Nokia 7+ and other smartphones that the company is going to unveil.
