Aircel offers roaming services in Myanmar

In an attempt to offer international roaming facility to its subscribers, Aircel India has partnered with the Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications to provide roaming facility in Myanmar.

Aircel in association with the Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), which happens to be the only telecom service provider in Myanmar has announced its international roaming services in the country for all its Indian subscribers, thus becoming the first Indian operator to offer the facility to its customers travelling to Myanmar.

The roaming facilities, which would be available in all key destinations in Myanmar, would be charged at Rs 60 per minute for incoming calls. Local outgoing calls within Myanmar would be charged at Rs. 55 per minute and outgoing calls to India and other countries would be charged at Rs. 80 per minute.
