While there has been quite some noise about BlackBerry being forced to leave the consumer markets due to terrible sales, the company still seems to have some plans for its smartphones.

Blackberry-c-series

According to sources, BlackBerry is already working on a new C-Series, which is also called the Café Series or the Americano. While it still hasn’t been mentioned by the company, the series is expected to feature at least two models which include a full touch device and a QWERTY equipped device. The leaked images of the device show the full touch 4.2 inch display with a decent 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

The device in the picture is touted to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. While this could also very well be the Blackberry Z5, which is the low end version of the Blackberry Z10, it is quite unlikely as this has a different design with more rounded corners. This device would follow the recently announced Blackberry Z30, which the company launched despite quoting a loss of nearly $1 billion in the last quarter.
