‘Candy Crush Saga’ developer files for share IPO

King Developers the company behind Candy Crush Saga is going public and filing for a share IPO. King, started its preparation for an IPO by registering silently on the NASDAQ stock exchange. King has 100 Million active users and is currently valued at $5 Billion.

Going public is one way to generate cash flow, rather than causing problems to consumers by asking for revenues or placing too many ads. King is also shutting down its non-successful titles and putting money on ones that make money, like Candy Crush Saga.

The game already has toppled the record of Farmville 2 with 9.7 Million daily users. Most users access the game on Facebook via their mobile phones, so their future endeavors should be into that direction would be something to look into.
