Infinix India has launched its latest budget smartphone – Infinix SMART 8 starting at an effective price of ₹6,749 (after discount) featuring a 90 Hz display with Magic Ring, a 50 MP camera, an 8 MP selfie camera with LED flash, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5,000 mAh battery, and more.
The Infinix SMART 8 is an entry-level budget smartphone sporting a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole design with an interactive Magic Ring that is similar to TECNO’s Dynamic Port, and Apple’s Dynamic Island. The Magic Ring shows you various information such as Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder.
The Smart 8 uses a Timber texture finish design and is available in four color variants – Timber Black, Shinny Gold, Galaxy White, and Rainbow Blue. Under the hood, the SMART 8 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC paired with 4 GB RAM (+4 GB virtual RAM), 64 GB of internal storage, and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU (680 MHz). It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with support for USB Type-C charging.
Cameras include a 50 MP main camera with a secondary AI lens both accompanied by Quad LED Ring flash whereas the front side has an 8 MP selfie camera with LED flash. The smartphone is also the first in the segment to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in this budget.
The price for the Infinix Smart 8 is ₹7,499 and will be available on Flipkart starting from 15th January 2023. Launch offers include a 10% discount on ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda cards for a limited period, the effective price for the smartphone after the discount will be ₹6,749.
