Micromax, the second largest smartphone player in India has brought a cool new initiative which will get you paid for a simple task of watching ads. Yes, we are not kidding. Micromax’s latest smartphone, Micromax MAd A94 will come with a application dubbed with the same name Micromax MAd which will let you do so.

Micromax MAd A94

The Micromax MAd app which comes pre-loaded on the Micromax MAd A94 smartphone features a 4-step process to get paid. The MAd app will let you watch advertisements and you’ll earn some points from every view of a advertisement. The earned points will then be converted into money and you will be paid into your postpaid or prepaid accounts.

Talking about the MAd app,  Mr. Rahul Sharma, one of the co-founders at Micromax said “With the launch of Micromax MAd, we aim to create a powerful medium to interact, engage, entertain and connect with the consumers by lending them our ears to voice their areas of interest, preferences and incentivizing it for them through reward.  This service would provide a high engagement communication channel for the brands to break away from the clutter. It is also going to prove to be a game changer for operator eco-system who are looking at newer and innovative ways to help them improve their profitability from every user. This unique service would also prove to be very significant for mobile eco-systems by solving the problem of ARPU (Average revenue per user), and contributing to the overall profitability”.

Coming to the Micromax MAd smartphone, we don’t have the full specs on the device but it will come with a 4.5-inch display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, a 5 MP auto focus camera and a 1800 mAh battery. It will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it will pre-loaded with a lot of apps such as Hike, BBM and others. It will be available at stores in India starting today at the MOP of Rs 8,490.
