We recently reported about Apple plans to relaunch the iPhone 4 in India to counter the mid-range smartphone market where there is no iPhone and Apple might well be on course for the relaunch as a report suggests the iPhone 4 8 GB version will be priced at Rs. 22,900.

iPhone 4 iOS7

The iPhone 4 was discontinued after the iPhone 5s and 5c launch and it left Apple with no iPhone in the Rs. 20,000-30,000 range thus the decision to bring back the iPhone 4. Before the discontinuation, iPhone 4 was priced at Rs. 26,900 and the relaunch sees it getting slashed by Rs. 4000.

The earlier report suggested that the iPhone 4’s 8 GB version will be priced at Rs. 15,000 with buyback and EMI schemes but we have to wait to get a official confirmation about the offer from Apple. Till then you can make up your mind if you want to have a three year old smartphone for Rs. 22,900. That is the same price for which the Galaxy Grand 2 has gone on sale yesterday and you can get a Nokia Lumia 1320 for around the same price.

Apple also has brought about a new scheme for the iPad mini first generation which lets you buy the iPad mini for rs. 4,500 down payment and pay the rest in EMI installments. Well coming back to the iPhone 4, we’ll keep you informed when it re-hits the Indian stores.
