Samsung has finally revealed the  hardware inside the Samsung Galaxy S5 which gives  it its magnificent specs. The Samsung Galaxy S5 internal hardware includes Isocell Camera sensors, NFC Chips and low -power Wi-Fi solutions.

Samsung Internal hardware

16-megapixel Isocell Sensor

First off, the 16-megapixel Isocell sensor that is embedded in the Samsung Galaxy S5 camera. This sensor is based on a Samsung CMOS imaging technology by the same name. It increases light sensitivity by controlling the collection of electrons which lets it manipulate the light and color, even in poor imaging conditions. It will also decrease crosstalk i.e. noise in photos. This sensor will implement a 16:9 aspect ratio which lets you click full size images, without loosing focus of the prime object. It also lets you make videos utilizing all 16-megapixels at 30 frames per second.

NFC Chip with mobile payment solution

One thing that people were left to wonder when Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 was the NFC. NFC is a regular feature on many phones nowadays, but Samsung claims that it has an advanced NFC chip under its wings. So what is it, basically?

Well, it is actually a 3rd generation NFC chip which uses a 45 nm NFC IC with embedded flash. It is actually uses a tiny antenna which enhances its radio frequency, making it more competent to receive and send mobile payments.

Low-power Wi-Fi solution

Another of Samsung’s claims is that the Galaxy S5 offers better Wi-Fi connectivity. Samsung’s Wi-Fi solution is called the S5N2120, and supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz which creates a small footprint but allows you access to a larger amount of apps.

Micro Control Unit

The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a Micro Control Unit (MCU) inside comprising of a power amplifier, power management, audio codec and direct microphone functions.

Samsung has also offered up this components to other smartphone manufacturers, so you needn’t be surprised if the same kind of specs show up on a smartphone from Apple or HTC.
