Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 with 6 inch display launched for Rs. 8500

Few days after first teasing the phablet which just got bigger in size, Micromax has officially announced the Micromax Canvas Doodle 3.

Micromax has announced the launch of The Micromax Canvas Doodle 3, which is the successor to the Doodle 2, but with a slightly bigger display of 6 inches. However, despite the larger screen estate, the display resolution is just 854 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek processor along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.

The Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 is equipped with a rear facing 5 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean and comes pre-loaded with Kingsoft Office, Opera Mini Browser and Getit. The handset is priced at Rs. 8500 and comes with a free magnetic flip cover, besides unlimited access to BigFlix for 6 months.

Speaking about the Micromax Canvas Doodle 3, Shubhodip Pal, CMO Micromax, said, “At Micromax, we have always aimed to offer something new and different with every product launch with affordable innovation being our core DNA.
